The Tasmanian Department of Health supports and promotes research in our hospitals and clinical services.
The Department funds the University of Tasmania to provide ethical review of research projects that involve patients, clients and staff member of the public health service.
The Department also works with local hospitals and federal government agencies to help attract research programs and funding to the State so that research can positively impact on the health of all Tasmanians.
